The LO1T Project
This is the story of how this project got its start.
William and Matthew were inspired by Jesi's story of meeting and talking about the Faith to a stranger she met at a park.
They thought, "how can we create opportunities to have meaningful conversations?" Around this time, Matthew was wearing one of his custom t-shirts at work and was getting questions about it. The two thought that an eye-catching t-shirt might be a most excellent conversation starter. The meaning of Leaves of One Tree has always resonated in their hearts, and with it, the fundamental teaching of the oneness of the world of humanity. |
Both like the vintage or retro feel with a California beach vibe. In a weird but not weird way, the two took inspiration from L39ION of Los Angeles, a professional cycling team.
L39ION strives to cultivate meaningful connections with their communities and continually champions for equality & equity. Thus was born LO1T, a stylized abbreviation of Leaves of One Tree! And in the process of working with designers, Matthew found another unexpected opportunity to talk about the Faith as he shared the meaning behind Baháʼu'lláh's fundamental teachings. |
The result is an unapologetic style that shouts the oneness of mankind.
